As a girl with POTS, diabetes, who takes transit, carries an emotional support 40oz tumbler, and has a devotion to the colour pink, I needed a backpack with a lot of room.
This backpack is the insert fancy car name here of backpacks.
Pockets for all my medical supplies? Done.
A tumbler pocket with room for the handle? Done.
A wide opening so you can see everything at once? ADHD approved!
Cushioned straps that make the weight feel like nothing? Yas!
The best part, though? Your girl is plus size. I loved that the backpack came with a shoulder strap so that, when the train is busy, I don’t have to put it on the floor or awkwardly carry it by my fingertips. The strap included with the backpack was a little too short for my body, so I checked the website to see if they sold extenders.
Not only do they offer them—they’re free.
That was the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. For a company to recognise that not every body is the same, and to provide that accommodation at no extra cost? I genuinely felt seen.
In short: I adore the backpack. I adore the company. I’ll absolutely be purchasing from Poppy & Peonies again.
Thank you, Poppy & Peonies!
