I love this bag the only thing I wish it had was a few more pockets so I can put my AirPods, lipgloss in instead of just throwing it in the bottom but still not a deal breaker. I did have an issue with the first bag I received as the stitches fell out but contacted support and they were beyond fantastic and helpful and replaced it no problem. I will be ordering more 100%

I needed a crossover bag for my trip to Europe this summer. This is the perfect bag! It has enough space to hold my necessities like my wallet, sunglasses, makeup and more. Plus, it will keep my belongings safe from pickpocketers. I’m already thinking of purchasing another sidekick in camel. I absolutely love this bag!

This bag is amazing! Everything you need fits in the bag and this bag is fat proof! I always struggle to find a nice/cute crossbody bag but the strap is always to short. Not with this bag because of the extender! You really deserve a big big compliment for this idea and this really nice that the extender is free. You really include everybody with this, I am a big fan!

I love my new sidekick in black it can be used for casual or dressing up. It has lots of room . I can actually put my glassses case in it. That doesn’t happen often with bags. It’s also very comfortable. I love it 🩷

This bag is a game changer! It’s dressy, great for on the go, and fits everything I need!

I was so excited to receive this. When I opened the bag, the zipper was all wavy and wouldn't flatten / straighten out even after a quick steaming. I returned it immediately and even sent a photo to customer service but haven't heard back regarding my refund. Really unfortunate, I was looking forward to this.

As a long time Lover of the Poppy & Peonies brand. I have purchased many bags over marketplace. I find the quality amazing. Then about a year ago I ordered the Sidekick and matching wallet in the Cognac. I thought about getting it in another color and Bam .. I seen the Hot Pink .. well I was online the minute it became available. I actually ordered three One for Me one for My Sister and one for my Best Friend! Haha. I call us the Pink Ladies. Looking forward to making another purchase in the near future!!

I’ve never had a pink bag before but I love the sidekick (I have it in other colours) so I took a leap of faith with this one and I’m so glad I did. It’s gorgeous! Perfect for spring and summer :)

I hummed and hawed about getting this, as it is pricey. But I decided to get it anyway as I always wanted it. Best purse I have had in years. So many compliments. Debating on getting one in cognac- just have to see if I can get it past my husband!

I have this in the hot pink and dark green and I love them both. So useful and you can fit so much.

I looovvve my sidekick. I got it for a future vacation but started using it as soon as I got it. So easy to add to a bigger bag/purse if needed but lots of room for the essential for an every day use.

Although this body/belt bag have no key leash, it’s easy to pair with any outfit ❤️

Love it. It’s light, well made and great to wear crossbody or at the waist.

Great size, really like the colour. Was disappointed that it did not include the key leash as per the company advertisements. When i inquired they said that only certain colours have the key leash but they were not clear with advertising that and if I had known I would have chosen whichever colour included that detail. Aside from that I am very happy with my sidekick.

Absolutely my favorite bag. At first I wasn't sure it would be big enough but lo and behold I was able to stuff the daylights out of it. I got the extender which gave me a little extra room. I also went with the charm add on. Which I love ❤️

Practical and wonderful color

I ordered my first purchase from Poppy & Peonies and was super excited to receive. It felt like it took a long time to arrive and when it did, there was stitching coming out of the bag handle so I reached out to ask for a new one. While there were quick to respond, this meant I needed to send the bag back and again wait for my new one (this was a summer color so time was of the essence). As a small gesture to recognize the delay I would be experiencing due to poor quality assurance, I asked if they would be prepared to waive shipping on another purchase as they had their big sale on and I wanted to get something else but wouldn't be spending the minimum. I was surprised to see that they ignored this portion of the email exchange twice. While I love the bag, I was disappointed they wouldn't consider this small gesture as I looked to spend more money with them. This made me think again about buying from them.

I received my order with a defect, it is missing the section for the cards inside. I wrote to the company upon receipt and I never received a response. On the other hand, I love the size and the wearer, it is sporty and chic at the same time. The color disappointed me a little despite my research to view several photos of the color.

I love my new purse. It’s very roomy and I can fit all my stuff when I choose to take a purse over my backpack. I did have a problem with the stitching which was disappointing but the company was responsive and a replacement is being sent. Hopefully there is no issues with the stitching on the replacement. Love buying Canadian!

Beautiful bag. It has a soft luxious feel. It’s very organized and gives you many ways to wear it.

The color wasn’t what I expected and one of the loops that holds the strap down broke a week after buying it. I donated it and bout a purse from pretty simple instead

I like how easily organized I have my purse. I had to carry many medical items for my husband and I can easily locate his things and my items with pulling out everything. People have commented how they like the style and the colour.

I love the colour!! Exactly what o was expecting. I do wish the cross body strap was a tiny bit wider, the purse is a decent size and holds everything I need but the strap cuts into my shoulder a bit.

I've been looking for a crossbody purse for some time. I was referred to Poppy and Peonies by a friend. I'm very happy with my purchase. The purse is good quality, looks and feels high end, and has lots of places to store your items. I also like that it comes with 2 different straps for either a crossbody, or shoulder style. The decorative tassel is a nice touch. I use it as the main zipper pull. I'm very pleased that this is an independent Canadian company. I try to support local and domestic manufacturers wherever possible.

I love it. Got it for my mom. Its quite functional, practical, stylish and has good space. She loved it.

Great size.. fits all my stuff I need for my work day. And keeps me organized with all the compartments.

Really like how this bag looks and how you can wear it cross body or holding the handle. It's the perfect size for essentials.. I would prefer an ivory colour that is less yellow and more whitish. Also, I'm not a fan of the gold zippers and gold accents. Wish Poppy & Peonies gave a choice of silver or gold accents on their bags or at least their popular ones. Hint. Hint. Overall, very happy with this purse.

Downtown crossbody is everything I want and have wanted in a purse! So much room for everything but not bulky at same time. Quality is like no other, and the price is just right as well. Win win! Will purchase many products in future!

I wore it out for date night. It's great for lots of different pockets and carrying options. The expanding part is great too, if it's needed.

The perfect organizational crossbody bag. It fits all my cards on the one side and on the other all my personal items. It even had room to carry my sunglasses, amazing! Fits in my daily work bag with my computer, love this bag!

Loved the purse, but for some reason was too heavy for my shoulder.

I love my crossbody bag. The only fault is that the zipper gets caught on the lining every time I open and close it, which is frustrating. Otherwise, it is very well made, practical, and so pretty. If not for this, I would give it all the stars!

Perfect size for everyday use.

Loving my new crossbody, fits alot and love that the wallet part is separate.

Only issue was with the courier. I was informed by my building manager that when it was getting delivered that he wanted to leave my package in the mail room. There are instructions not to do this; so when she saw him and told him to drop it by my door. She then later went to the 4th floor and noticed that he had just thrown the package in the lobby off elevator on my floor. Thankfully she saw this and put it by my door. It could have easily been stolen if she didnt check. Not good.

My favorite part is the built-in wallet section! I can transfer everything from my margaux wallet into it. The other section fits my large phone and other essentials easily. The sand color goes great with my dark brown flowered dress. Good quality, and lightweight.
