I received my purse for Mother’s Day. Soon after the stitching came loose. Poppy and Peonies customer service is amazing. They responded quick. And rectified the issue right away. Bag falling apart

I have a few bags from this company, and this is the first bag I’ve purchased that is falling apart and come across as cheap. The stitching is coming undone, and the lining on the handles are melting, not a fan. Really let down.

Gave it 3 stars because when I received the tote it came in a thin plastic bag that had a cut in it, obviously from the postal service at some point and thankfully it was in a dust bag or else the bag itself probably would of been altered. When I opened the dust bag to get the tote out I was met with a very very STRONG chemical odor to the point it gave me a headache and I had to put it out in the garage to air out. Before I put it in the garage I looked it over and noticed it has a small black mark under the logo which is super annoying but I decided to suck it up because I need a work bag. Besides the odor being extremely strong and the black mark the bag is as advertised and will fit a 40oz Stanley.

Practical and wonderful color

Great was bag but less than optimal service experience

I ordered my first purchase from Poppy & Peonies and was super excited to receive. It felt like it took a long time to arrive and when it did, there was stitching coming out of the bag handle so I reached out to ask for a new one. While there were quick to respond, this meant I needed to send the bag back and again wait for my new one (this was a summer color so time was of the essence). As a small gesture to recognize the delay I would be experiencing due to poor quality assurance, I asked if they would be prepared to waive shipping on another purchase as they had their big sale on and I wanted to get something else but wouldn't be spending the minimum. I was surprised to see that they ignored this portion of the email exchange twice. While I love the bag, I was disappointed they wouldn't consider this small gesture as I looked to spend more money with them. This made me think again about buying from them.

Sidekick sand

I received my order with a defect, it is missing the section for the cards inside. I wrote to the company upon receipt and I never received a response. On the other hand, I love the size and the wearer, it is sporty and chic at the same time. The color disappointed me a little despite my research to view several photos of the color.

I have bought the Commuter Backpack in March 2023. Not even a year of use (on top of that I use it only twice a week!) the zipper has splitted twice and unfortunatly Poppy and Peonies can't do anything because it's been more than 90 days. I've never paid that much for a bag and honeslty the quality is very poor. Very disappointed about the quality as my 'cheaper' bags are all of better quality.

I love my new purse. It’s very roomy and I can fit all my stuff when I choose to take a purse over my backpack. I did have a problem with the stitching which was disappointing but the company was responsive and a replacement is being sent. Hopefully there is no issues with the stitching on the replacement. Love buying Canadian!

I am in love with this bag. I use this for my work bag/purse. I do not need much and the color is stunning.

The best “little” back pack!

I absolutely love the mini back pack..small in size compared to a large back pack …but there are so many compartments and so much room inside! My grandchildren always know that I have enough room for treats lol. I may have to get another one in a different Color!

Colour not what I expected.

I love the bags style and functionality but was super disappointed in the camel colour. The photos on the website had more of light brown tinge to them but the bag is shockingly more yellow than I ever expected. My friend has a camel coloured bag from Poppy and Peonies and it was not this colour.

It is adorable but the strap ripped off the second day I used it. It cost to much money to send it back so I guess I will donate and maybe someone can fix it or throw it away. I don’t carry much because I can’t do heavy.

I thought it would be slimmer.
The size is perfect but it is too bulky.

Perfect wallet

I have the larger full zip wallet from P & P and it’s great but it’s a little too big for my sidekick. I have a weird thing about my bills being folded so I didn’t want to go with the smaller folding wallet, so this go anywhere is absolute perfection with enough space for all my cards and keeps my bills nice and flat and crisp! 👌

Where do I start with all the things I love about this purse???

1. Love that it is a Canadian company founded by women.
2. Love that all the packaging it arrived in was recyclable and COMPOSTABLE! It was all packaged so beautifully too!
3. The purse material feels so soft and high quality.
4. The purse design is so functional. I love the space for my water bottle (my Owala fits in and the purse will still zip shut!). I love that the laptop sleeve is removable (because I am not using this as a work bag). I love all the compartments inside for keeping my big bag organized. I love that I can even fit a smaller purse inside so that if I just want to grab and go with a smaller purse it is easy.
5. I love that it has a removable strap.
6. I love the camel colour - such a versatile colour for all seasons.
7. Love the trolley sleeve for travelling - so great to be able to easily slide it onto my luggage handle securely.

I want to give it a 5 as its very functional and I love it. Unfortunately, i had some quality issues (tag and badge) with both the bags I was sent (batch issue?), but they offered an full refund or a completely different bag which I took them up on. Opted for the Nomad but I still love and can use the Commuter Bag. I donated the other one to someone in need.

Really like how this bag looks and how you can wear it cross body or holding the handle. It's the perfect size for essentials.. I would prefer an ivory colour that is less yellow and more whitish. Also, I'm not a fan of the gold zippers and gold accents. Wish Poppy & Peonies gave a choice of silver or gold accents on their bags or at least their popular ones. Hint. Hint. Overall, very happy with this purse.

Beautiful but….

Was very disappointed. I purchased the bag right before your Black Friday sale (unfort) and it hadnt shipped before the sale started due to a postal strike in Canada. So a lady reached out to me asking for another address besides a PO Box #, so I gave her one (a friends business location I had to ask permission to do). As it was quite delayed at this point in getting shipped from when I purchased it, the sale was well underway at this point. I casually asked her if I could get credit for the sale price since it had not shipped yet amd I just barely missed the sale as is. Not only did I not receive the sale price, she didn’t even write me back to say yay or nay. Very disappointed in this-service and how I narrowly missed out on a $35 savings!!!! At least write me back at the very least and say no!

Beautiful functional bag

I love this bag the only thing I wish it had was a few more pockets so I can put my AirPods, lipgloss in instead of just throwing it in the bottom but still not a deal breaker. I did have an issue with the first bag I received as the stitches fell out but contacted support and they were beyond fantastic and helpful and replaced it no problem. I will be ordering more 100%

This bag is amazing! Everything you need fits in the bag and this bag is fat proof! I always struggle to find a nice/cute crossbody bag but the strap is always to short. Not with this bag because of the extender! You really deserve a big big compliment for this idea and this really nice that the extender is free. This bag is carefully and beautifully made. The construction of a wide bottom and rounded edges allow me to put in all that I need, with room to spare. I particularly like the inside pockets and the black detail around the outside of the bag. Well done!!!
